The best time to build a house is when it's cool and dry. Builders have difficulty in Winter, especially when laying a foundation due to the frozen ground. Summer is often too hot, but it’s also when builders are at their busiest.

Although weather can cause delays in the Spring, the walls go up quickly so that work can be done inside. Late spring can be a great time build, especially in regards to landscaping.
